The Closed Guard is a dying art. That being said, you could be one of the few left to learn the intricacies. The Closed Guard is one of the BEST guards when used correctly, Rodrigo Artilheiro has one of the best closed guards in the entire world.

So Who is Rodrigo Artilheiro?

Rorigo is a former Coach of The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil with Vitor Belfort and has trained and coached many notable UFC fighter including Brian Stann, Randy Couture, Forrest Griffin, Mirko Cro Cop, Lyoto Machida, and current UFC contenders – Vitor Belfort, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, and Raphael Assuncao, to name a few.

Rodrigo is an extremely well-rounded martial arts and is a world class Jiu Jiteiro, Wrestler and Judoka. Rodrigo has an incredible list of accolades, here are just some of his major accomplishments to name a few:
