LAS VEGAS - UFC FIGHT PASS ®, the world’s leading streaming service for combat sports, today announced a new multi - event deal with Combat FC, a mixed martial arts promotion showcasing up - and - coming talent from the Boston area. The first event will stream live and exclusively on UFC FIGHT PASS on Friday, June 1 7 , at 9 :00 p.m. ET / 6 :00 p .m. PT.

Combat FC, formerly World Championship Fighting, was established in 2007 and has held eleven events to date , with a focus on developing talent. Notable UFC athletes who have begun their careers with Combat FC include former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and No. 4 - ranked featherweight Calvin Kattar.

The inaugural event under the Combat FC banner takes place live from Wilmington, Mass. and features Dana White’s Contender Series participant Rico DiSciullo against Gareth De la Cruz in a 140 - pound catchweight bout. Also on the card is fellow Dana White’s Contender Series competitor. Tim Caron who will be taking on Salaiman Ahmadyar in a middleweight match up.
