The Omoplata Is On Of The Most Effective Submission Without The Gi!

Troy Manning Is Here To Walk You Through The Do's and Dont's With The Omoplata NO GI!

What Will you Learn?

The Omoplata can be an extremely effective weapon without the gi because it is a submission hold that is not very dependent on grips.  Without the gi there is a string of various attacks that you can use from the omoplata position.

There are arm locks, back takes, leg locks, and of course the omoplata itself.  Troy Manning has spent time refining this attack without the gi and he uses it from a lot places.

The omplata is not just a submission it is a position that you can use to hold, sweep, or transition to to other submisisons.  One of the best parts of the omoplata is the fact that you do not need to have the gi to grip.

The omoplata is a lot of leg, core and over hook strength.  Although there are many set ups that use the gi there are also many that do not.
