Knee on Belly Trailer With Aaron Benzrihem
What Will You Learn?
The knee on belly position is not taught often as a dominant and attack oriented position. Traditionally we are taught to attack from side control, back or mount, but this train of thought leave out many possibilities with knee on belly. Aaron has created a guide to help you become MUCH more DANGEROUS from knee on belly.
In this series he will start with the basics and control principles of this position. He will then continue to discuss the various Gi Chokes and Neck Exposure methods, followed by the same but with no gi choke, and then their is over an hour of limb exposure and isolation of arms. Once you have a grasp on the over 30 submissions from knee on belly there is an entire volume devoted strictly to chaining these attacks.
This is one of the best positions for someone who is smaller and weaker to submit bigger and stronger guys. Why? This position is mobility dependent. What that means is that you will force your opponent to create their own exposure rather than pry and force things.
While pressure is excellent, occasionally you can create better opportunities with movement and chaining attacks, THAT is what knee on belly is about.
