Michael Page Biography

Michael “Venom” Page, or MVP, was born in London on April 7, 1987.  As a child, MVP, trained in Lau Gar Kung Fu under his father, beginning at the age of 3.  By the age of 5 he had begun competing in kickboxing tournaments. He was very successful as a competitor, and began competing in adult competitions by the time he was 13 years old.  He would eventually be crowned the British champion over 25 times.

Mixed Martial Arts Career

Page eventually grew dissatisfied with the politics involved in kickboxing associations and tournaments, as well as the lack of exposure, and he decided to focus on mixed martial arts.  He began his MMA career by training at the famed London Shootfighters Academy.

Page made his MMA debut on February 4, 2012, defeating Ben Dishman via technical knockout from a tornado kick in the first round.  He would go onto win 2 more professional fights, by armbar submission and TKO (doctor stoppage), before he announced in late 2012 that he had signed a five fight contract with Bellator MMA.

He made his Bellator debut on March 21, 2013 at Bellator 93, where he knocked out Ryan Sanders in 10 seconds of the first round.  Since being in Bellator, he has amassed an incredible undefeated record of 10 wins, with 8 finishes.
