Adam Wardzinski Secures ADCC Worlds Spot

Adam Wardzinski represented his home country of Poland well this weekend with his performance at the first ADCC European Trials in Bucharest, Romania. This weekend's trials in Romania begin the road to the 2019 ADCC World Championships which will be held in 2019 in southern California.

In his first match, Wardzinski put his well-known butterfly guard game on display against French MMA fighter Djati Melan. Adam Wardzinski would ultimately work to the back and finish the fight by Rear Naked Choke.
In the second match Adam would face Romanian grappling standout Silviu Nastasa. He would win by points besting the former Romanian wrestling champion 5-0.
In his third contest, Wardzinski would meet Russian Abdubari Guseinov. He would dominate this match with a 12-0 victory.

In the semifinal match he would meet Finland's Otto Kuikka. Kuikka would do a good job defending the triangle choke of Adam Wardzinski by would ultimately have his buried arm pulled away from body to fall prey to Wardzinski's kimura.
In the finals, Wardzinski would meet Great Britain's Sean Coates representing Gracie Barra Nottingham. Again, Adam would put his butterfly guard prowess to great use and ultimately secure a back take and finish via Rear Naked Choke.
