Jesseray Childrey is an ultra-heavyweight grappling competitor and a black belt in Jiu Jitsu. Childrey is also a coach at Nice Guy Submission Fighting in Owensboro, Kentucky. Jesseray Childrey has fought professionally in both Jiu Jitsu and MMA. He got his his start into the world of martial arts in he was 20. People around him told him that he should fight and that’s when he started training for MMA. In 2015, his focus would shift to Jiu Jitsu exclusively after suffering a handful of bad injuries. He has expressed that he found more enjoyment out of submission only styled grappling coming from MMA. All of his training and competing would end him with spot at the ADCC West Coast trials where he would place 2nd in his weight division. This would open up even more opportunities for him, having him compete internationally in Finland and multiple other ADCC trials.

While competing, Childrey would end up meeting Joe Baize and Bobby Emmons, where they would offer him a spot at Nice Guy Submission Fighting.
