Team Renzo Gracie Prepares for Kasai 3: Get an Inside Look!

Several members of Team Renzo Gracie will be stepping into the arena this coming weekend for Kasai 3. The event takes place on Saturday, August 18^th and will feature some of the most exciting grapplers from the current and up and coming BJJ community.

Flo Grappling was given an inside look at the famous Renzo Gracie academy in NYC, as the competitors prepared for the event this week. You can take a look at the video here:

The most decorated and familiar faces from the famous blue basement make appearances in the video. We get a glimpse of TRG icons Gordon Ryan, Garry Tonon, and Nicky Ryan, helping to sharpen and prepare their teammates for the upcoming event. But there seems to be a new generation of Danaher Death Squad soldiers on the rise, looking to make a name for themselves and carry on the legacy. This weekend at Kasai we’ll get to enjoy TRG’s Ethan Crelinsten, Ryan Quinn, and Frank Rosenthal, among many others bringing their signature styles to the table and putting it on the line.

There’s also a number of super fights on the card that will no doubt produce some exciting action. Most notably a match up between Craig Jones and Rousimar Palhares. Which is sure to be one of the most exciting bouts of the evening!

Kasai 3 is packed with TRG talent, and promises to be a very exciting night of match ups! Tune in and witness some of the greatest athletes of our sport make history!
