Dinu Bucalet's Best Fight of All Time

Dinu Bucalet's mentions winning the Nogi IBJJF Europeans in 2018 as his most well known achievement. The Nogi IBJJF Europeans is one of the most prestigious grappling events in the world, attracting some of the best BJJ practitioners from all over the globe. Bucalet's win at the event is a testament to his skill and dedication to the sport.

To achieve such an accomplishment, Bucalet would have had to overcome a significant number of skilled opponents in his division, showcasing his technical prowess and mental toughness. It is a notable accomplishment that sets him apart from many others in the grappling community and highlights his ability to compete at the highest level of BJJ.

He has also become well-known for a Ezekiel choke that went viral following the Polaris Squads event in Europe.

Who Did Dinu Bucalet Lose To?

When asked in an interview, Bucalet was quick to give two names that submitted him as tough losses. The first was Ross Nicholls, who he competed against first and was submitted in a close match that ended quickly. It happened again when he faced off against BJJ phenom Charles Negromonte, and neither of these losses sat well with Bucalet. Although his time for competing is closing, we’re thinking a match against either of these two could pull him back onto the mats pretty fast.
