Greg Jackson is considered one of the greatest MMA coaches of all time and has worked with a ton of fighters for decades and produced some of the greatest MMA champions in history.

Greg Jackson started to learn martials arts at a young age as he grew up in a rough neighbourhood and wanted to be able to defend himself as he was the only white kid in a very hispanic area of New Mexico after moving from Washington D.C.
Greg Jackson also came from a family of wrestlers with his father, uncle and brother all being champions in the sport.
After training in martial arts, Greg Jackson got into many fights which resulted in him getting suspended from school. After graduating from high school in 1992, Greg Jackson created his own style of martial arts, called Gaidojutsu, which was basically MMA before MMA was really a thing.
Gaidojutsu is a hybrid martial art style that combines basic techniques from multiple styles like wrestling, kickboxing and Judo. After teaching the style for almost a decade, Greg Jackson opened up his first MMA gym in 2000.
