For this fight, Roger Gracie faced off against Michal Pasternak at ONE Championship 42: Ascent to Power on May 6, 2016.

The fight started with Roger Gracie immediately taking the center of the ring and forcing Pasternak to circle it. After forcing Pasternak to do a few laps around the ring, Roger Gracie shoots in and pins him up against the cage and is eventually able to bring the match to the floor.
