Jompop would create a widely-known name for himself and eventually catch the attention of Songchai. He would become one of Songchai’s most popular fighters and fight in some of the most prestigious stadiums in Bangkok such as Lumpini and Rajadamnern. At the age of 23, he would retire from professional Thai boxing and eventually co-own the Kiatphontip Gym in Bangkok where he would teach Muay Thai boxing.
Jompop Kiatphontip has earned the titles of South Thailand Champion and number one rank in Rajadamnern Stadium. Jompop was able to become the champion of South Thailand by the age of 12 years old. By the end of his career, he had fought in over 160 matches.
