What this article covers:

Jacob Kasper was discovered as an amateur by the famed Gerald Brisco. Brisco viewed Kasper as the perfect type of athlete and performer for WWE. He even compared Kasper to a young John Cena. Not only did Kasper have the height, strength, and bulk for the strenuous and competitive career of WWE wrestling, but he could also captivate a crowd. Gerald Brisco had high hopes that Kasper would do well as a WWE superstar. What most impressed Brisco was the fact that Kasper still competed despite suffering from Crohn’s disease during the time he was scouted. Kasper lost a ton of weight during his ailment which put him at a disadvantage in his weight class. Even though he lost his match at the 2018 NCAA championships, Brisco was delighted by Kasper’s perseverance and character.

After being signed on to WWE’s roster, Jacob Kasper would perform as a heel from August 32, 2021 to April 4, 2022. Many wrestlers may be turned off by this proposition, being that most professionals want to be the face. This was no challenge for Kasper, having been displaying heel-type energy even in amateur wrestling. At one point, Kasper had called out Kyle Snyder, catching many people's attention. They even went as far as to help him collect WWE memorabilia such as the very popular action figures they produced.

Eventually, Jacob Kasper and his brother Drew Kasper would take part in Lexington High School’s amateur wrestling team. After graduating, Jacob Kasper would go to Durham, North Carolina to study sociology at Duke University. There he would also take advantage of his opportunities with the school’s wrestling team.
