The Dirty Dozen are known to be the first 12 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioners to receive the rank of Black Belt outside of Brazil where the martial art originated. The members of the Dirty Dozen consist of (in no particular order) David Kama, Bob Bass, Ken Gabrielson, Craig Kukuk, John Lewis, Chris Haueter, David Meyer, Rick Wiliams, Rick Minter, Chris Saunders, Roy Harris, John Will, and Rick Lucero.
