Deborah was a Blue belt in Jiu Jitsu as she would assist her father in coaching mainly children's classes. As Deborah adapted to her new life in America she continued to visit Rio De Janeiro, where she kept up her training with Professor Jefferson Moura from Gracie Barra headquarters and Professor Roberto Correa from Gordo Jiu Jitsu Academy. She holds numerous women's self defense seminars at many gyms across the US, including her cousins academies like Igor Gracie, Renzo Gracie and many other High level academies.
