Defending the Over Under Pass With Mikey Musumeci
Mikey Musumeci is arguably one of the most successful young BJJ black belts on the competitive circuit today. Having won his 2nd black belt IBJJF title, he entered a league entirely his own after winning the worlds at every color belt and his first year as a black belt along the way.
One of the key aspects of his game is his almost fail safe guard retention. In the video below, he shows just a small bit of his guard retention repertoire by showing Bernardo Faria how he addresses a strong Over Under Pass, which happens to be one of Bernardo's staples.
