Jiu-Jitsu is for a lifetime!

How many sports did you play in high school or college that you still currently stay active with? If you played “traditional” sports like Football, Basketball, or Baseball chances are that you stopped being able to enjoy these games the same way. That said, we’ve all seen the 50 year old down at the local Basketball court passing out free basketball lessons from the 80’s, in which in that case rock on!

Jiu-Jitsu on the other hand can be enjoyed throughout a lifetime. The sheer amount of techniques and methodologies of training can help people achieve their goals no matter what the age is. A major factor in determining the span of training is how intensity can be highly modified.

People from varying backgrounds and experience levels can work together in a light rolling session exchange multiple positions and attacks without the goal of “winning”. Instead they can work together and sharpen each other’s skills.

Competition is something that comes up often when discussing training for a lifetime.
