Khabib In A Boxing Ring? Could We See It?
Will Fans See Another Crossover Bout?
A few days ago, the CEO of Mayweather Promotions, Leonard Ellerbe posted a video on his Instagram of him with Khabib Nurmagomedov, speculating about a potential boxing match with the undefeated “King of Boxing” Floyd Mayweather Jr. In the video, linked below, Nurmagomedov talks of there only being one “King of the Jungle”, and offering to put up is “0” vs. Mayweather’s “0”, and saying that he dropped McGregor, and Floyd could not.

Floyd wasted no time in responding, re-posting the video to his Instagram page, stating that “CBS, Showtime, and MGM Grand” should “get the checkbook out”. It seems like Floyd is all for it, right? Maybe this could happen?

The popularity and spotlight of the crossover between fighters from the MMA world to the Boxing world shot through the roof with the McGregor/Mayweather fight, which took place in August of 2017. It was a huge fight, watched my millions, and garnered both fighters million dollar paydays (rightfully so, deemed the “Money Fight”). Could we see this again? Could they possibly get this done, and allow these 2 undefeated fighters meet in the Boxing ring? Or could it potentially be in a MMA ring? That would be a sight to see.
The fight would be one for the ages. Floyd Mayweather Jr. is, with no doubt, one of the best boxers of all time. His 50-0 record proves that easily. But, Khabib Nurmagomedov is also a very talented fighter. In his recent fight with Conor McGregor, he was able to score a knockdown on the feet, which not many people have done to McGregor in the past. And, it is something that Mayweather could not do in their fight.
If this were to go down, who do you got? Which person crosses over and becomes an undefeated fighter in boxing, or even MMA? Could we see Floyd Mayweather cross over to MMA? Who knows, but I would love to find out!
